Such GREAT music. David was unique. NO one could find those places in between the notes like he could. And what a great band.

Having known Chris only for his song Josephine as well as of course Driving Home... for years, relatively recently I discovered that there is way more where that came from. What a great musician and a pleasure to listen to! It's too bad he already had his 'Farewell tour' long ago, probably because of his health issues, but if there ever comes a chance I'd still go see him live, without hesitation.

He still moves like a star and has the same stage presence. Only a few decades difference. Love him so much!

I'm a big Jack Bruce fan . Ever since seeing Cream at Madison square garden in 1968.

David Sanborn was the soundtrack of my life in the 70's, especially living in NYC, and listening to WRVR...He seemed to be playing on everyone's records...but what I forgot was that he was with the 2nd version of The Paul Butterfield Blues Band ...The Album "The Legend of Pig Boy Cranshaw is one of my faves...I could listen to that band's version of "Driving Wheel" over and over and over again...Good Stuff!...Thanks, David for the great musical memories...they will always be in my head.

Sanborn opened my mind, ears and heart towards the saxophone. He is one of my earliest musical heroes. He was one of a kind!
